Our Terms and Conditions apply to the use of our perfumepeople.co.uk website and by accessing this site and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions as follows:

perfumepeople.co.uk (Direct Perfumes) reserves the right to alter and modify the Terms and Conditions without prior notice

If you have a general query or an issue relating to an order, then please contact our Customer Services Department by email enquiries@perfumepeople.co.uk or by telephone +44 (0)7968 021486 between the office hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays. Calls will be charged as per your telephone provider. Messages can be left outside of these office hours

By using this website, you agree to comply with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations regarding it and regarding transactions made on and through the website

All wording on our website and communication by email/post from us will be in English

Product Description

All products advertised for sale and sold by the perfumepeople.co.uk (Direct Perfumes) are 100% genuine branded products. We do not sell copy or fake products

All stock and prices are subject to availability

Each product is sold subject to its product description, unless the product is unpackaged/unboxed. These products will still be 100% genuine branded products. In this case the product will be clearly marked as unpackaged and an image of the fully packaged item may be shown as a reference guide to the customer

All images used are for illustration/customer reference only and products received may differ to those illustrated. For example, if a product has been recently re-branded in terms of packaging, but not in terms of actual content, then the packaging will differ from illustrated item on the website

In placing an order with perfumepeople.co.uk (Direct Perfumes) you confirm that prior to submission of the order that you have read, understood and agree with the manner in which your products are packaged

Colours of some product images (particularly cosmetics, but not restricted to this) may differ according to the reproduction of the image by customers computers and the actual reproduction of the image on the website due to photographic and printing processes. However, should you be unhappy with the colour of your product, we offer a 'no fuss' 28 day money back guarantee on all products (excluding return shipping costs) (Products must be in original packaging and not used) Please see our Shipping & Returns section for full details of our returns policy

General Ordering Information

Please check all your details are correct before submitting your order, as changes may not be able to be made prior ro dispatch. If you realise you have made a mistake when ordering, please telephone us in the first instance as soon as possible on +44 (0)7968 021486

perfumepeople.co.uk (Direct Perfumes) are not responsible for any inconvenience caused as a result of errors made in the placement of orders and will not grant compensation as a result

All communication from perfumepeople.co.uk (Direct Perfumes) will be made via your email address as supplied when you registered

All registrations and orders will be followed up with a confirmation email. Please contact us immediately by email or telephone should you not receive a confirmation email. perfumepeople.co.uk (Direct Perfumes) do not accept responsibility should you fail to receive emails to the address you registered with

perfumepeople.co.uk (Direct Perfumes) reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders at any time at the discretion of our management. This may be due to one or more of the following: non availability of product, non authorisation of payment, the identification of a pricing or description error, or that you are not meeting the criteria as identified in our Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to restrict the number of items available to sale to any individual customer and to deliver certain orders to the billing address only

Items that are not in stock or items that cannot be delivered to your specified delivery address will be removed from your order. You will be refunded for the item if a transaction has taken place

Order may be subject to an extra security check at our discretion.  This to include confirmation of address or credit and debit card details. We also reserve the right to request a payment by an alternative method or cancel any orders if this information is not available or accurate. Should payment be made by cash or cheque then we reserve the right  to not process the order or dispatch any items for 24 hours

How to Order

  1. Place your order for your products on the perfumepeople.co.uk website by pressing the confirm button at the end of the checkout process
  2. You will receive an order acknowledgment email from perfumepeople.co.uk - Direct Perfumes. This is NOT an order acceptance nor order confirmation at this stage
  3. You will receive a dispatch email when the item has left our store
  4. Your order is accepted as confirmed upon the dispatch from our store and this completes the contract of sale between yourself and perfumepeople.co.uk (Direct Perfumes)

Payment

All products are priced in UK Pounds sterling and include VAT at the current rate

perfumepeople.co.uk (Direct Perfumes) accept payment in UK Pounds Sterling GBP(£)

For payments made in GBP we accept all major credit/debit cards as follows: Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, Maestro

We do not hold any credit card details. Payments are processed through a secure hosted site called SagePay

perfumepeople.co.uk (Direct Perfumes) do not sell products to persons under 18 years of age

perfumepeople.co.uk (Direct Perfumes) are not liable for any payment processing fees or charges, should they apply, for your chosen method of payment

We do not operate a price matching policy. Please note that special offer prices are valid only if the product is ordered at the offer price, during the special offer or promotional period. Goods are charged for at the price displayed and agreed for at the time of order acceptance

Only one gift voucher code or promotional code may be redeemed at a time, on any one order. Promotional codes may only be used within the promotional offer dates and goods must be ordered and paid for during this time

Gift vouchers may not be redeemed as cash

Personal Information/Privacy & Security

Once an account is registered, you are responsible for all activities and orders generated within it and submitted under your password. Any personal information that you provide must be up to date, true and accurate. By using the website, you agree to not impersonate any other person/entity or to use a false name that you are not authorised nor entitled to use

We collect Contact and Delivery information, that comprises name, email address, billing address, delivery address. This information is used to supply the products ordered and to contact the customer as required

Our website has security measures in place to protect the loss or misuse of information that we hold

All payment pages are hosted and processed by SagePay. We do not maintain records of your payment card data

Please contact our Customer Services Department to update your personal information via email or by telephone as above

In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988 we do not supply any of your details to a third party, unless you have given perfumepeople.co.uk (Direct Perfumes) direct permission to do so. All data given is treated as confidential and securely stored

You have the right to ask for a written statement of your data held, amend/update your data, delete your information, withdraw your consent for use of your data in our mailing lists

Your data is used solely for the processing of your orders, to compile statistical information known only to us for service improvement purposes by ourselves, to administer this website, to serve website content and advertisements to you

If you consent then we will send you details of special offers or products that may be of interest to you via email or through Royalmail post

Please be aware that perfumepeople.co.uk (Direct Perfumes) monitor this website and may retain information about your visit that will assist in improvements to our service

Complaints/Account Closure

Please make any complaints that you may have in writing, via email. This will be acknowledged as soon as possible and within 7 working days, via email. We will endeavour to keep the customer informed of the progress of the handling of the complaint at all stages

Should you wish to close your account with us, please email our Customer Service Department on enquiries@perfumepeople.co.uk and we will organise the closure for you. You can re-register at a later date if you wish, although this will be a new account and as such any historic ordering information will be unavailable
