Shipping & Returns


Orders are normally dispatched via Royal Mail within 1 working day of the date ordered. We always obtain a receipt from Royal Mail as proof of items posted

Delivery Options:

UK Standard Delivery: FREE to mainland UK (estimated delivery 4-6 working days. Please allow up to 7 working days

UK Standard Plus Delivery: £2.25 per order (maximum weight 2kg) (estimated delivery 2-3 working days)

UK Special Delivery Next Day: £7.95 (maximum weight 2kg) Next Day Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm if orders are placed by midday the previous day

Please note that Special Delivery orders placed on a Friday before Midday may be received on a Saturday, although Royal Mail only gurantee delivery by 1pm on the following Monday

Orders that have not been received and which were dispatched by Standard, Standard Plus, 1st or 2nd Class  will not be considered as lost/missing until 14 working days from the dispatch date. No refund or replacement will be offered until after this period and then may be subject to a signed disclaimer letter from the customer, confirming non receipt of goods

Returns Policy

To return an item:

  1. Simply login to your account
  2. View the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button
  3. We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned product(s)

Please also note the following conditionsapply to returned items:

Items must be returned within 28 days to qualify for a full refund or replacement

Products must be returned unused and unopened, still in their original packaging and in the condition in which they were sent out by us

Due to the nature of the products they must also be securely re-parcelled up in their original outer packaging for security purposes and to avoid breakages. Items that are returned to us that are improperly packaged and have been damaged in return transit may only be refunded in part, according to the discretion of our management 

Please include details of the reason for your return within the product packaging, and your name and address and date of purchase

For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns of skincare, body products, cosmetics, jewellery, personal grooming items or any items that show signs of use, and/or have been removed from their original packaging; unless they are faulty

Refunds will be processed via the original payment method. All items are covered by our 28 day 'no fuss' money back gurantee. For cancellations and associated refund, please see section below

Refunds will not be made for customer return postage costs, unless the item is defective/faulty/incorrectly dispatched by perfumepeople.co.uk (Direct Perfumes). If this is so, returns must be made by standard royal mail 1st or 2nd Class. Special/Recorded/Courier returns will not be reimbursed by perfumepeople.co.uk (Direct PerfumeIt is the responsibility of the customer to obtain and maintain proof of postage of returned items. The responsibility for the item remains that of the customer until the item is received by us

You should expect to receive your refund within 28 days of giving your package to the return shipper. However, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days)

Orders returned 'Not Called For'/'Not Collected' by Royal mail or returned under similar conditions, will be refunded as above. The order will be cancelled and the customer informed via email. Customers will need to re-order any items still required

perfumepeople.co.uk (Direct Perfumes) will not cover return postage for 'free promotional items' that are returned as defective or damaged

Photographic evidence may be required as evidence of incorrect, defective or damaged items received by the customer

Faulty items returned after 28 days will be assessed regarding their usage and a refund applied according to amount used. Items returned after 3 months, faulty or otherwise will not be refunded or replaced. Items returned after this time will be disposed of by us

Should your order already have been dispatched, and you decide to cancel, please contact us by telephone in the first instance on +44 (0)7968 021486 You will also need to make the cancellation in writing, via email within 7 working days of your receipt of your order

Upon our receipt of the returned item(s) we will then refund you in full, including the initial delivery postage & packing if this is applicable. We will issue you, via email, with a returns address. Please note that returns must be made within 10 working days of the date you received the goods
